La
Fassina has been restored on several occasions,
while always preserving the original facade.
The
rooms inside, in colonial style, are spacious and comfortable.
The furnishings are a pleasing combination
of modern designer furniture and the original furniture of the period,
which has been carefully restored by the owners.
The
property is divided into two wholly independent homes:
the original house where the owners live,
and the guest house, which occupies part of the ground floor
and all of the upper floors.
On
the ground floor, there are two entrances:
one from the street, and the other from the garden.
On
the first floor, which is 280 m2, are the other rooms:
a living room, a dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen,
and four bedrooms (three twin bedrooms and a master bedroom),
each with an attached bathroom.
The house also has two terraces.
One of them, which is 80 m2, is partly covered,
with terrace furniture and a view of the garden.
On
the second floor, as an annex to the main floor,
is the loft, which is 195 m2.
It
consists of two twin bedrooms, two small bathrooms,
and two large rooms for special purposes.
The
house is equipped with sheets and towels,
a washing machine, a dishwasher,
satellite TV and central heating.
Cars can be parked on the estate.
Garden
and Swimming Pool
The
property surrounding the house
originally consisted of vineyards, as well as fields to raise cotton,
castor oil plants and garden vegetables.
This land was later converted into what is now the garden.
This is an attractive flowered area where you can stroll around
among a great variety of plants and trees.
The
former water reservoir has been converted into a swimming pool
in a sunny sheltered corner of the garden.
